Services for people who live outside of Ann Arbor

• A2Express: Bus Service from Chelsea or Canton to downtown Ann Arbor
• Park & Ride: AATA has a number of Park & Ride lots located throughout Ann Arbor, which allows employees who work downtown to commute part of the way by car, and the rest of the way by bus.

Services for people who live in Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti

• The Ride (AATA Buses): AATA's service area includes the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area and connections serving Chelsea & Dexter. This makes commuting to your job downtown even easier! It costs $1.50 to ride the bus one way, or free with a go!pass. 
• Need help deciding the best route to take?  Contact getDowntown so we can help.
• Check out bus routes, schedules and the status of your bus online: Click on www.theride.org/routes.asp and just select your route and it will show you if you bus is early, on time, or late.  You can also check the status of buses from your wireless enabled PDA by going here: mobile.theride.org/
  
• AATA is on Google Transit.  Use Google Transit to find the best route from one location to another.
• Bike the Ride: AATA has bike racks on all of their buses, which allows more options for combining biking and busing to work. University of Michigan Bus System

• The University of Michigan bus system is often overlooked by Ann Arbor residents not affiliated with the U of M. However, the buses are free to all and run frequently. Depending on your commute, they may be just the right solution for you.
