Bike Fest

The purpose of Bike Fest is to celebrate and showcase Ann Arbor's biking community & to promote biking as a fun, healthy, and sustainable transportation option. Come on down to Main Street for an evening for an evening of bike mania! Grab a bite to eat, test your skills, learn something new & celebrate the diverse bike culture we have here in Ann Arbor.

When: Friday, June 13th 2008 from 6-9pm

Where:  On Liberty Street between Ashley and Fourth Ave. (The Green Fair is on Main Street)

2008 Bike Fest Event Highlights

  • Freeride Bike Demo by Great Lakes Cycling and Fitness
  • Bike Obstacle Course by Wheels in Motion
  • Tire-Changing Competition
  • Rides on the seven-person Conference Bike!
  • Displays by local bike shops and membership organizations
  • Informative displays on the City's adopted Non-motorized Transportation Plan
  • Activities for kids. Bring your bike and helmet!
  • Free, attended bike parking

Bike Fest appears as part of the City of Ann Arbor's Green Fair. The Green Fair is an opportunity to learn about local environmental groups and activities.
